The Trinkete Modern in Bayonne is hosting a major Basque pelota tournament from July 15 to 19, 2026. This prestigious event is organized in partnership with the City of Bayonne and showcases this traditional Basque sport in all its technical brilliance and passion.

Officially launched on July 8, 2026 in the presence of Yves Ugalde (Deputy Mayor for Major Events), Henri Lauqué (President of the Festivals Committee), and Cyrille Laiguillon (Deputy Mayor for Sports), this tournament promises intense matches under the direction of Lionel Mazars, Director of the Trinkete Modern.
