Chipiron Festival

The town of Capbreton invites you to join them on September 12 for the traditional Fête du Chipiron, which was postponed from August 15 due to the wildfires in Gironde and the Landes.

This iconic town event celebrates local fishing and the culinary traditions centered around the chipiron.

The day’s program includes gourmet markets, children’s activities, and concerts; however, the closing fireworks display at 10:30 p.m. from the central beach has been canceled. Still, it promises to be a magical evening you won’t want to miss!

This event is free and open to everyone.
