LA GRADIVA - Special Screening

LA GRADIVA, winner of the Grand Prix at the @semaine_de_la_critique 2026, is the first feature film by director Marine Atlan, which left a lasting impression at the Cannes Film Festival. This moving film plunges you into the dizziness of French high school students discovering Pompeii and its bodies petrified by Vesuvius, until they surrender to desire and anger.

Join us for a special preview on Thursday, September 17 at 8:00 PM, with Laura Pertuy, film journalist and member of the selection committee for the Semaine de la Critique! The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director.

Synopsis: A group of French high school students goes on a school trip to Naples to discover the ruins of Pompeii and its bodies petrified by Vesuvius. That’s where the dizziness strikes them. One after another, they let themselves be overwhelmed by desire and anger until they completely surrender to it.
