Ilyes lives a joyful life in the suburbs of Roubaix. His only problem? The baccalaureate exam. After failing twice, this is his last chance to pass and finally make his parents proud. But disaster strikes during a mock exam when a fire breaks out, and he’s blamed for it. Expelled from his school, he must leave his neighborhood and attend the only school that accepts him: the Catholic boarding school of Saint-Albert-le-Grand in Burgundy. Between cultural clashes and a quest for redemption, Ilyes will have to overcome his own prejudices… and those of others.
