Haurrak Race - Children

Children can also shine during the Haurrak Race, an event specially designed for them as part of the Hendaye Basque Festival!

On Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:30 AM, young runners will set off from Abiatzea (Place de la République) for a 3 km course tailored to their age. This fun and friendly race is open to children aged 8 and over, accompanied by an adult. Registration is mandatory and must be completed online before August 3rd at pb-organisation.com.

After the race, the distribution of race numbers and small prizes will take place at Gaztelu Halls. A musical performance and games will await participants to extend the celebration in a family-friendly atmosphere.

A great opportunity to introduce the youngest to the sporting and festive spirit of Basque culture!
