Meeting with Morgane Caussarieu

Literary meeting with author Morgane Caussarieu (@morganecaussarieu), part of the Le polar se met au vert festival.

Originally from the Landes region, Morgane Caussarieu is a novelist and tattoo artist based in Berlin under the artist name Nature Obscure. Her debut novel Dans les veines (Mnémos, 2012) reimagines the vampire myth. In 2013, she published the essay Vampires et Bayous. Her second novel, Je suis ton ombre (Mnémos, 2014), was a finalist for the Masterton Prize and won the 2015 Bob-Morane Prize as well as the Planète SF bloggers’ prize. Rouge Toxic received the Prix Halliennales, and Techno Freaks (Serpent à plumes, 2018) was shortlisted for the Prix de Flore. She has published with Au diable vauvert Vertèbres (Masterton Prize 2022 winner), Dans tes veines (2023), and Visqueuse (2024).

The meeting will feature a presentation of her latest novel Visqueuse (Pocket Editions, April 2026), diving into the dark and captivating universe of her stories.
