Les Siècles Concert: Bernstein & Dvořák – Homage to Exile

Les Siècles, led by French conductor @pierrebleuse, present an exceptional program blending two giants of classical music: Leonard Bernstein’s Symphony No. 3 « Kaddish » and Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 « From the New World ».

To open the evening, experience the world premiere of Hommage au soleil, a new work by American composer @arancio.music, 4th winner of the 2026 Pisar Prize.

The concert also pays tribute to exile through these two masterpieces, including Dvořák’s symphony, whose creation in the United States marked musical history.

Featuring: @rachelwillissorensen (soprano), @philchorus (choir), @maitrisederadiofrance (maîtrise), and narrators Judith and Leah Pisar.

The musicians of Les Siècles perform this program on modern instruments (for Bernstein and Arancio) and on authentic Bohemian/Viennese period instruments (for Dvořák).
