Meeting with Unglee, Ghislain Mollet-Viéville, Pierre-Alexandre Mateos & Kévin Blinderman

Delpire & Co bookstore invites you to a special meeting around the book dedicated to friendship and contemporary art, published by Empire Books.

Between 1983 and 1998, photographer @unglee.officiel captured a privileged relationship with Ghislain Mollet-Viéville, art dealer who championed conceptual and minimal art in Paris. In his Beaubourg street apartment-gallery, which became an iconic venue, a series of portraits was created over the years in great freedom. Ghislain Mollet-Viéville appears surrounded by works by Donald Judd, Joseph Kosuth, Sol LeWitt or Lawrence Weiner, revealing an elegant, relaxed and radiant man.

This book brings together 45 photographs and traces fifteen years of friendship and creation, portraying an individual who turned his living space into a place entirely dedicated to contemporary art.
