From the Black Panther Party to Hip Hop: When Culture Becomes a Weapon of Liberation!
About
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, dive into an exceptional day at Le Baranoux (78 rue Compans, 75019) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Black Panther Party’s creation and Hip Hop’s legacy as a tool for resistance and Pan-African expression.
The lineup includes a conference exploring the connections between Hip Hop and activism, a live concert, and vegan catering by BESE SAKA.
A unique opportunity to reflect on the balance between business and militant demands, in the spirit of Peace, Love, Unity & Having Fun.
In 2024, the Panaf’Hip Hop Team from LP-U launched this celebration of Hip Hop’s origins and values, from August 13, 1973, in the Bronx to today around the world.
