Meeting with Florence Debove: "Shepherdess" and "On Your Slopes"

La Librairie. is delighted to welcome Florence Debove @florence.debove, a shepherdess in the highlands for over ten years, for a meeting around her two stories: « Shepherdess » and « On Your Slopes ».

Through writing and drawing, Florence Debove shares her daily life as a shepherdess in the Pyrenees, her summers spent in the mountains with her flock, her dogs, and the special relationships that develop with animals and landscapes. Her sensitive and poetic writing invites us to see pastoralism and those who practice it in a new light.

A special evening to discuss mountains, animals, tradition, and pastoral life, as well as to discover the journey of an author who knows this reality from the inside.
