Sculpture workshop: Building a figure

MilleFeuilles offers a free creative workshop for children accompanied by an adult, linked to the VARIABLE(S) PICTURAL exhibition by Édouard Prulhière.

During the session, families will build a large anthropomorphic head out of cardboard (folding, cutting, assembling with gummed tape and glue gun) to explore concepts of face, character, and presence. The cardboard material is enhanced with charcoal rubbings, marks, imprints, and painting. The resulting figures, somewhere between face, mask, and imaginary character, are then placed on chairs to create a life-size presence in the exhibition.

A snack is offered at the end of the workshop.
