A Journey in Song

The Ascèse Chamber Choir takes you on a discovery of traditional songs from around the world, from sacred melodies to popular tunes. Under the direction of Philippe Mendes, sixteen professional singers perform a varied repertoire spanning from the 16th century to the present day, with Brazilian, Swedish, Serbian, and Irish influences. A musical journey that is both exotic and accessible, for all lovers of harmonious voices.
