The Fall
About
Based on Albert Camus’ work, this theatrical adaptation by Cie Le Bruit des Gens immerses the audience in the world of Jean-Baptiste Clamence, the central character of The Fall. A former lawyer exiled in Amsterdam, he engages in a calculated confession where he plays both the accused and the judge. Between the mirror he holds out and the trial of his time, the line between confession and accusation blurs, revealing universal and timeless pain.
